Punit Shah
Punit Shah is the Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Group, a single-family office focused on the diversification and preservation of capital. Over his 20+ year career with Liberty Group, Punit has held leadership roles spanning development, operations, capital markets, and asset management, helping guide the firm through significant growth and evolution.
Under his leadership, Liberty Group has invested more than $1.2 billion in commercial real estate. Prior to transitioning into a family office, Liberty built and operated a national hospitality platform that grew to 57 hotels and more than 5,000 rooms, primarily affiliated with Hilton, Marriott, and IHG.
Beyond Liberty Group, Punit is a Partner and Co-Owner of the Miami Marlins and Jupiter Hammerheads, joining the Marlins ownership group in 2017. Punit also serves on the Roam Hospitality Advisory Board and IHG Owners Association Global Board, is a member of YPO, and advises Boston University’s School of Hospitality. His professional recognition includes the Florida Governor’s Enterprise Award, being named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, and multiple “Under 40” honors. He has also been recognized by Boston University as an Alumnus of the Year and has served as a Commencement Speaker.
