Michael Sjogren
Michael Sjogren is an investor, entrepreneur, CPA, hospitality operator, mentor, and podcast host specializing in short-term rentals and boutique hotels. He is the Founder and CEO of Short Term Rental Secrets, an education and mentorship platform that helps real estate investors launch, automate, and scale short-term rental businesses.
Michael is also a Partner at Roam Hospitality, bringing his extensive experience in real estate investing, hospitality, and short-term rental operations to the organization.
After beginning his career in accounting and auditing, Michael transitioned into real estate investing and built a portfolio spanning short-term rentals and boutique hotels. Today, his portfolio includes 50+ short-term rentals across four states and three boutique hotels on Boston’s North Shore.
He is also the host of the Short Term Rental Secrets Podcast and co-founder of the STR Wealth Conference, where he shares strategies and insights for building and scaling successful hospitality businesses.
Michael holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Walden University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Assumption University.
